DIY Imitate Glow Tube Clock Kit

This is a cool faux Nixie clock that I found on aliexpress. It uses LED's cast through laser-cut plexiglass plates to give the appearance of a Nixie tube. There is a partially assembled version, and a kit and as a kit, it has some challenging surface mount soldering. My first kit was actually a fail and I could never get it to work reliably. For the second kit, I used a cheap hot air soldering station off Amazon and it helped significantly.
