Cumin Sandwiches (Flint Style Chili Dog)
- 1lb Ground Beef
- 1tbsp garlic (granules)
- 1tbsp chili powder (mild)
- 1tbsp ground cumin
- salt & pepper
- 4oz tomato paste
- 1tbsp mustard
- water
- hot dogs & buns (preferably hamburger)
Directions
- Brown ground beef & drain
- add tomato paste and mustard
- add 1/2 can of water to tomato paste can, mix, and add to meat
- add dry ingredients to taste
- simmer for 5 minutes
- Cut hot dogs into segments (about 1" long), cut in half, and broil
- Brown buns in hot oven
- Add meat to bun, top with hot dog segments (3 or 4), and serve
